Eagle Point High School Equestrian Team (EPSHET)

You don't necessarily have to own a horse to be on our team...you need to be a hard worker, have the desire to learn and improve your knowledge and skills with horses, be a team player, and want to have fun!!!

We are a sport/activity that is also a part of "OHSET" (OREGON HIGH SCHOOL EQUESTRIAN TEAMS- OHSET.com) Our season runs from November 1st through May, ending the season at our state meet (usually held in Redmond,Or) and hopefully reaching our final competition "The Northwest Regional Championships" in June.

Individual Events include:  showmanship, Western, English, jumping, dressage, trail, in hand trail, cart driving, reining, working rancher, steer daubing, break away roping, barrels, key hole, pole bending, figure 8, individual flags
Team Events include:  working 4's drill, 6+ short program drill, working pairs, in hand obstacle relay, team penning, Canadian flags, Bi Rangle
Maybe you don't want to compete, just be around horses and learn...you can join our team as a "groom!"
This sport/activity does take a lot of parent support. We look for individual sponsors and team sponsors, as well as have many fundraising opportunities throughout the season.
Please contact an advisor for information on how to join!
